The Doodle Museum: My First Solo Art Exhibition After 10 Years of Pillybaxtoodles
I started Pillybaxtoodles in 2016 with a simple love for drawing little things. Ten years later, I’m getting ready for something I never quite imagined back then: my very first solo art exhibition.
The Doodle Museum is my little take on some of the world’s most recognisable artworks. Think Mona Lisa, Girl with a Pearl Earring and The Scream, but reimagined in the rounded, playful world of Pillybaxtoodles. I love the idea that art doesn’t have to feel intimidating. Sometimes a familiar masterpiece, seen through a silly little doodle, is enough to make someone smile or get curious about the original.
The exhibition is happening in collaboration with Coze+, a Singapore arts café that serves lovely food and coffee while making space for local creatives and hands-on art activities. I’m especially grateful to Rachel and the Coze+ team for giving these doodles a home beyond my screen.
Come by for a coffee, take your time looking around, and perhaps find a new favourite masterpiece. Prints and little keepsakes will also be available if you’d like to bring a piece home.
The Doodle Museum by Pillybaxtoodles runs from 1 November to mid-December 2026 at Coze+, 803 King George’s Avenue, #01-242, Singapore. Opening hours are 9am to 6pm, closed Mondays. Follow @pillybaxtoodles and @cozeplussg on Instagram for exhibition updates.
Whether you’ve followed my doodles for years or are discovering them for the first time, thank you for being part of this little milestone. Here’s to more art finding its way into everyday life.
